Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Village of Scio, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time / 40 hours per week (Tuesday- Friday)
Job Description: The Village of Scio is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the maintenance and operations of the Village.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance of village properties and facilities.
- Perform landscaping duties, including mowing and trimming.
- Assist with road maintenance and repair.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment.
- Support special projects and events as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Have a basic understanding of mathmatical formulas.
- Comprehension of written manuals and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work various hours during emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
